Rosita Restaurant in San Felipe

Rosita International Restaurant is a seafood and traditional Mexican restaurant on the northern end of the San Felipe Malecon. Owned and operated for 14 years by the Romo family.

A long time San Felipe off-road racing supporter, Martin Romo, our operator, is a friend to race teams and has produced racing dvds. He is active in local community improvement projects, including a school irrigation system and garden. He created "Playa Clean" 3 years ago to clean the beaches of San Felipe. He is one of 10 individuals in San Felipe employed by the State to clean area parks, beaches and the city. He also encourages local kids to be involved in environmental cleanup in many areas of San Felipe. The cleaning programs are strongly supported the local American and Canadian communities.

A large menu includes local and regional fish and shrimp prepared in creative and tasty ways and classic Mexican food. Shrimp or fish with garlic is a house specialty. Their soups are excellent. A full bar enhances the experience. The margaritas are good.

Rosita International Restaurant has a lovely outside deck close to the Sea of Cortez. The view includes many kinds of shore birds, local pangas coming in and going out fishing, cars passing as they leave the Malecon and a constant flow of local and tourists. Inside are 3 spacious rooms for dining. A most interesting venue. br>

Rosita International Restaurant has seating for up to 100 people and is open 7 days from 7 am to 11 pm. When a whole table orders complete meals there is a 10% discount for breakfast and 15% for lunch or dinner.

Large groups I welcome, however it is recommended you call ahead to make reservations.
